Welcome to Darien Lake Theme Park Resort!
Darien Lake Theme Park Resort aims to provide the highest quality and most enjoyable experience to all of our Guests. We have adopted the following Policies and Codes of Conduct to ensure all Guests are treated fairly, equally, and to protect every individual that we welcome.
Reservations, Pricing, Payments, and Length of Stay
When booking online, the full amount will be charged to the credit card at the time of booking.
Reservations by phone, through our call center, more than two months in advance, will have the option to mail in a check or money order for the full amount.
Credit Cards will be charged accordingly in U.S. funds.
Requests for specific rooms, units, or locations are not guaranteed, and may result in additional fees due to high demand or the inconvenience of other Guests that are affected.
*All Executive Drive RVs and Brown Bear Cabins will be assigned the morning of check-in due to limited availability.
Season Passholders are eligible for discounts on the following units: Standard Queen Hotel Rooms, Standard RVs, Tier 2-3 Campsites, Apple Lake Full Hookup Sites.
Passholder Discounts are not available on: Executive Drive RVs, Lakeside Cabins, Poolview Rooms, Hotel Suites,
Forts -O-Fun Kids Suites, Tier-1, or Preferred Full Hookup Campsites due to high demand and limited availability. Upgrades may be available on the day of check-in based on availability.
Rate Periods:
Value Season: weekends May 7-31, June 3-6, 9-13, and 16-24.
Regular Season: June 25-July 15; Aug 29 – Sept 6.
*Prime Season: July 16 – Aug 28;
*Prime Season rates may be applied during special events, concerts, holiday weekends, other peak periods, and bookings made the same week of arrival.
Fall Season: Fridays-Sundays, Sept. 10 through Oct. 17.
All pricing categories, tier-levels, room-types, season rate dates, operating dates, pricing, and packages are subject to change without notice.
All Rates, Packages, and Pricing Tiers vary by the time of year, day of week, type of accommodations, location in the campgrounds, special events, concerts, and other factors.
A two night minimum stay is required for all Hotel, Cabins, & RV Rentals, or during concert and holiday time periods for campsites. One night stays may be available pending occupancy rates
All rates are based on two people, per night, and do not include tax. Extra charges per night apply up to a six person maximum.
Cancellations
2010: If you cancel your reservation, three days advance notice of your check-in date is required to receive a refund minus $25. If you cancel your reservation within three days of your arrival, there is no refund.
2011 Cancellation Policy: Cancellations can be made up to (14) days before your arrival date, you will receive a refund minus the $50 deposit for your 2011 reservation. Cancellations inside of (14) days of arrival in 2011 will not be refunded.
Guest Code of Conduct
All Guests must be respectful of their neighbors by keeping music and other activities at a reasonable level.
Music or activities that contain vulgar or abusive language will not be tolerated.
The speed limit throughout the Resort is 10mph.
The following are prohibited for safety reasons or the possible disturbance of other Guests in your area: motorized scooters, golf carts, fireworks, boats, damaging trees or foliage, damaging picnic tables, ATV’s, or other apparatus deeming unsafe or inappropriate by resort personnel.
NYS law prohibits alcohol consumption by anyone under the age of 21 regardless of nationality. Please carry your ID with you as you may be required to present proof of age if anyone in your party is consuming alcohol.
Highly intoxicated Guests of any kind will not be tolerated at any location of the Resort or Theme Park property.
Kegs and large parties are strictly prohibited.
Trash receptacles are located throughout the campground and are emptied daily for your convenience. Please remember to dump your garbage and refuse bags in this area only. Please do not leave trash on site or at the road.
The General Store has wood and kindling available for purchase. Cutting down trees, limbs, or branches is not permitted. Please protect and respect our environment.
Remember to secure your loose items such as valuables, food, and beverages. Darien Lake will not be responsible for lost or stolen items.

11 p.m. – 7 a.m.
Hotel Policies
The Hotel and all Hotel Rooms are all non-smoking. There are designated smoking areas outside of the Hotel for your convenience.
Cooking devices of any kind are not allowed in your hotel room.
Complimentary Coffee is available in the Hotel Lobby each morning for registered Hotel Guests only.
Only registered Hotel Guests may use the Pool facilities.
RV/Camping Policies
All RVs are non-smoking.
Visitor and Additional Guest Policy
All Guests occupying a Room/Unit/Site must be registered.
Additional Guests may only be added to your Room/Unit/Site for the entire length of stay.
Maximum number of Guests per Room/Unit/Site will not exceed six.
Additional Guests are admitted during Theme Park hours, and must be registered to your Room/Unit/Site, through the camping office, or front desk.
Additional Guests should not park in the main Theme Park lot.
Day Visitors must park and enter at the main Theme Park entrance and must possess a Theme Park Admission Ticket. They are not allowed to park at the Hotel, at your RV, or Campsite. They may be registered to your Room/Unit/Site only for the entire length of your stay, if you choose to have them stay beyond one day.
Pet Policies
Pets are permitted only in the campground, however must be leashed on your site. No pets are allowed in the Hotel, except for service animals. All pets must be provided water, food, shade, and remain quiet when you are not there to attend to them. A copy of vaccination records is required upon check-in. You are required to clean up after your pets.
Theme Park Policies
Alcoholic beverages are not allowed to be brought into the Theme Park.
Picnic baskets and coolers larger than a soft-sided six-pack cooler will not be permitted into the Theme Park.
There may be a limited amount of rides and park hours during the Value and Fall Periods of the season.
Theme Park operating dates and times are subject to change without notice.

Parking
Accommodations Guests may park free of charge during their stay in the Hotel parking lot or right at the RV or Campsite. Enter at the Hotel entrance and have your reservation confirmation number available.
Please properly display your vehicle permit so that our Security staff can clearly identify your vehicle as an Accommodations Guest. This will avoid removal of your vehicle at your expense. Limit two vehicles per site.
Check-In / Check-Out
Proof of residency will be necessary at check-in, and minors younger than 21 are not permitted to register or make reservations.
We welcome you to pre-register, before your scheduled check-in time, and enjoy the use the Theme Park! Free parking is available at the Hotel (for Hotel Guests), and at Darien Square (for RV and Campsite Guests).
Hotel and RV Guests: Check-In - 3 p.m.; Check-Out - 11 a.m.
Camping Guests: Check-In - 2 p.m.; Check-Out - 1 p.m.
On the last day of your visit, you can enjoy the Theme Park for the remainder of the day at no additional charge, by simply re-entering the Main Gate after check-out!
Weather / Rain Policy
Darien Lake Theme Park Resort does not offer rain checks or refunds for inclement weather. Some rides and attractions may close temporarily due to safety conditions associated with inclement weather.
Eviction
Darien Lake Theme Park Resort, it’s employees, and/or agents reserve the right to immediately remove anyone from our property at anytime during their stay, without monetary compensation, due to the following: Failure to adhere to Guest Codes of Conduct, Failure to follow Smoking Policies, Failure to adhere to Quiet Hours, Damage to Resort or other Guest property, Lack of Payment, Disorderly Conduct in the Theme Park, Intoxication, Harassment, Theft, Unregistered Guests in Rooms/RVs/Sites, Criminal Activity of any kind, Providing Alcohol to those under 21 years of age, or any other like action that we deem inappropriate.
