Are Canadian funds accepted inside the Theme Park? Where can I exchange Canadian currency?
Canadian funds are accepted widely throughout the park or can be exchanged at Guest Relations inside the park at a 95% exchange rate. This is subject to change.
If I already have tickets to the Theme Park is there a discount?
All of our Accommodation rates include Theme Park Admission. Save your tickets and use them on another day visit to the Theme Park.
Can I request specific site numbers?
Requests for specific site/unit/room numbers are not guaranteed, and may be subject to a charge. This is due to high volume at our property and a great demand for certain areas.
Q: How much is a Hotel Room?
Our package prices vary pending time of year and day of week. Spring and Fall Seasons are a better value than weekends during the summer months, as the Theme Park generally is not as busy. During the summer, you can get a discount if you book during a weekday.
Can I bring a friend to spend the night?
All Additional Guests must be registered at the Campgate or Hotel front desk for the entire duration of your stay. Additional charges will be incurred for each additional Guest over four - up to maximum of 6 Guests per unit/room/site.
What is the extra charge for a pool view room?
Generally $10 per night, depending on the time of year and day of week.
What discounts do you offer?
Darien Lake Theme Park Resort offers a variety of limited time discounts to our prior Guests throughout the year. To be eligible, make sure we have your current email address, as we often send specials directly to you.
What rides will be operating during the Spring/Fall seasons?
Our Theme Park will be operating with a limited amount of rides during the spring/fall seasons. All ride closings will be posted each morning outside our main gate admissions area.
What are the directions to get to the park, and how long of a drive?
Darien Lake Theme Park Resort is located less than an hour between Buffalo and Rochester, NY at exit 48A of the New York State Thruway (I-90). For specific directions click here.
Is there a refrigerator, and can I cook in my Hotel Room?
Yes - there is a small refrigerator (dorm size) in the Hotel Rooms. There is NO COOKING allowed in the Hotel.
Do you have internet or WiFi?
Yes in front of Beavers Brothers Cafe and in the Lobby of the Hotel. You must have your own wireless card.
Can I bring a golf cart to get around?
No, but you could bring bicycles.
Can I bring my pet, and does it cost extra?
Yes - you can bring your pet, and we would need a copy of their current vaccination record.
Q: Can the pets stay in the campground, RV, Hotel and can they go into the Theme Park?
Pets can stay in the campground and in the RV rentals, but they must be on a leash at all times. If they do any damage, you would be liable for that damage. No pets are allowed in the Hotel or in the Theme Park.
What is your Cancellation Policy?
If you cancel your reservation after it is paid, there is a $25.00 service fee. If you cancel within three days of your arrival, there is no refund.
Can I switch dates and if so is there a fee?
Yes - you can switch dates, and there is no fee.
Yes - we take Visa, Discover, MasterCard & American Express.
Can I bring a cooler into the theme park?
Yes - but it has to be a small SOFT sided one that only fits approximately 6 waters or sodas.
How much are Season Passes?

What is the purpose of having a season pass if you still have to pay for your tickets and camping?
If you have a Season Pass, you will receive a discount off the regular price of your stay. Discounts range from 25% to 50% depending on where you stay in the campground.
Can I have someone visit my campsite that is not staying here?
Yes you can, but they must go to the main entrance of the park to purchase tickets to get into the park. Please note: they must leave at the end of the Theme Park's day.
Can I have beer in the campgrounds, and can we take our own into the Theme Park?
You can bring your own to the campgrounds, RV rentals, and the Hotel. You CAN NOT take your own beer into the Theme Park; however, they do sell beer inside.
Does the room have a microwave in it?
Only the Suites have a microwave in the room. However, there is a microwave for you to use in the lobby of the hotel.
On our campsite or RV rental site, is there a fire pit with a grate?
There is no fire pit with a grate (you must bring your own portable grill); however, there is a place to have a campfire (bring your own wood or purchase wood from us at the General Store).
Can I rent a site or room if I am not 21 years of age?
No - you must have a 21 year old on your site (room) and the site (room) must be booked by a 21 year old.
